Job Summary

The ECM Engineer III is responsible for engineering solutions to complex problems in support of enterprise initiatives. This includes a combination of platform/system engineering, system integration, implementation, and technical services and support. The Solution Engineer designs, implements/installs, maintains, and administers integrated solutions across various technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate detailed working knowledge of Enterprise Content Management technologies to provide a solution that meets the requirements of the initiative while considering long term sustainability and supportability
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve problems related to vendor platform software, the applications that run on them and the systems that they interact with
• Communicate regularly and effectively with team members, stakeholders, and/or others within the organization as needed.
• Create documentation of the implemented solution to facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing operational support
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role.
  
  

Mode of Working: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a primary base in Bengaluru. While on-site presence is essential for key engagements, flexibility is offered for remote work based on business needs and team alignment.

Skills And Background You’ll Need

Education: A Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is required. Azure Cloud certification , Java.

Required Experience

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Experience in engineering, configuring, and administering web technologies, middleware technologies and Enterprise Content Management technologies
• Experience with open-source solutions – Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat, etc.
• Functional and/or technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure or related cloud technology
• Solid understanding and proven experience with engineering and implementing integrated systems in a complex environment
• Ability to use critical thinking in order to perform diagnostics to resolve complex systems issues
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work efforts to meet customer expectations in line with project delivery dates, system SLA’s and defined support services expectations
• Proven communication, documentation, and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organization
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with IBM FileNet
• Experience working with Kofax Capture or Kofax Total Agility
• KONG API Gateway
  
  

Certifications

• OpenText Exstream or OpenText Communications certification, or the ability to obtain certification within an agreed timeframe
• OpenText Exstream Cloud Native certification and cloud platform certifications such as Azure or AWS are a plus.
