Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams building secure, scalable, and reliable SaaS products for the fintech domain. The role combines technical leadership, people management, and delivery ownership to ensure successful product execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration.
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality software.
- Partner with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to deliver business priorities.
- Own sprint planning, execution, release management, and engineering delivery metrics.
- Promote engineering best practices, code quality, CI/CD, DevOps, and automation.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and compliance with applicable fintech standards.
- Support hiring, performance management, and career development of team members.
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and technical innovation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
- Experience building and scaling SaaS products, preferably in the fintech domain.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, APIs, and modern software development practices.
- Programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Springboot.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
