Founded by Prerna after extensive research into coatings, fumes, microplastics, and hidden toxins, Asai was established to close the gap between what cookware claims and what it delivers.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Analyst role based in Gurugram. We’re looking for a highly analytical, detail-obsessed individual who can own the numbers backbone of Asai — from marketplace reconciliations to business MIS to financial insights. This role sits close to the founders and will play a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, financial control, and decision-making clarity. Additionally, the Financial Analyst will support decision-making by building and maintaining financial models, analyzing historical performance, and preparing forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience 1-3 years
• Strong foundation in Analytics & Finance, with the ability to interpret business performance and support strategic decisions.
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities and comfort working with large datasets.
• Experience working with Financial Statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and Financial Reporting is a strong plus
• Experience in consumer products, retail, or D2C/e-commerce environments is a plus.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CIMA, CA Inter, MBA in Finance) are an advantage.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving processes and controls.
