Forging Production Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Forging Production Engineer to oversee and optimize forging production operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in forging processes, production planning, quality control, and shop floor management. The role requires ensuring efficient production while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and supervise daily forging production activities.
  
• Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality standards.
  
• Optimize forging processes to improve productivity and reduce production costs.
  
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
  
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines, and raw materials.
  
• Maintain production records, reports, and process documentation.
  
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.
  
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on the shop floor.
  
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

2–5 years of experience in forging production or a similar manufacturing environment.

Good understanding of forging processes, production planning, and quality control.

Knowledge of production documentation and manufacturing best practices.

Ability to analyse production issues and implement effective solutions.

Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Familiarity with safety standards and lean manufacturing practices is an added advantage.
