Role Description The Franchise Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing franchise opportunities to expand Akava Luxury’s retail footprint. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying franchise leads, conducting market research, preparing business plans, and presenting franchise proposals to potential partners. The role involves coordinating the franchise onboarding process, ensuring adherence to brand standards, and delivering training and support to franchise partners on operations, merchandising, and customer experience. The Franchise Development Manager will collaborate closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align franchise growth with overall business strategy and performance targets.
Qualifications

  • Franchise development and expansion experience, including Franchise Sales and Franchising knowledge.
  • Strong strategic and analytical abilities in Business Planning, market assessment, and financial viability analysis.
  • Proven experience in Lead Generation, prospecting, and relationship management with potential franchise partners.
  • Ability to design and deliver Training programs for franchisee teams on operations, brand standards, and sales performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience in fashion, retail, or luxury consumer goods preferred, with understanding of brand positioning and customer experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
