Freelance Consultant - Total Rewards

Our client, a leading manufacturer of ophthalmic equipment, microsurgical instruments and pharmaceuticals, is looking to engage a consultant to provide hybrid support for two roles – Total Rewards (75%), and Talent Acquisition (25%). The role will be reporting to the CHRO, and include hands-on work including managing all aspects of the Rewards function, and providing support around leadership hires. The role requires handling confidential information, and hence requires high level of integrity and relevant past experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compensation management - Payroll, Mobility, Statutory Remittances, benchmarking and surveys
• Benefits administration
• HRMS management
• Performance & rewards cycles
• HR Analytics and Reporting
• Vendor and stake holder management
• Employee communication and experience
• Oversee Talent acquisition, reporting, and labor cost management

NOTE:

Capacity: Full-time (40 hours/week) ( 9 AM to 6 PM)

Mode of Work: Hybrid (Chennai)

Working Days: Monday-Friday

Travel : On need basis to Manufacturing plants / Sales Brach office across India

Skills Required

• Preferred industries: Manufacturing, Medical devices, Consumer products
• 10+ years in Talent Management or HR, ideally with succession planning experience.
• Additional skills -tools/applications: HRMS
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; Master’s a plus.
• Strong analytics, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with HR systems , Data Analytics, Project Management.
