Role Description The Freight Forwarder (Operations) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Delhi Area. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end freight forwarding operations for export and domestic shipments, including booking cargo space, coordinating with carriers, and preparing shipping documentation. The position involves monitoring freight transportation status, resolving operational issues, and ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of goods. The Freight Forwarder will maintain close communication with customers, provide shipment updates, handle inquiries, and support service recovery when needed. The role also includes collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimize routes, meet compliance requirements, and uphold company service standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Freight Forwarding and Forwarding skills for managing cargo movements and operational workflows.
• Candidates should possess Export handling skills, including familiarity with export documentation, regulations, and customs processes.
• Candidates should possess Freight Transportation knowledge, including carrier coordination, route planning, and transit time management.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to manage client communication, handle queries, and resolve shipment-related issues.
• Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight operations, preferably in the Greater Delhi Area or similar markets.
• Ability to work accurately under time-sensitive conditions, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and logistics/transport management systems.
• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field is an advantage.
