Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and optimize front-end applications across Inquirer Interactive’s digital platforms.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and visually engaging interfaces for desktop, mobile, and tablet
- experiences.
- Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, editorial teams, ad operations, and business stakeholders to
- deliver digital products that align with organizational goals.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing,
- deployment, monitoring, and post-launch improvements.
- Maintain and enhance existing websites by implementing new features and resolving bugs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and respond quickly to platform incidents to ensure site reliability and
- uptime.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and backend systems when needed.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving team development standards.
- Stay updated on emerging front-end technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and status updates for ongoing projects.
- Perform other related duties that support the company’s digital initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field—or
- equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in front-end or web development.
- Experience working on production websites, digital platforms, or media websites is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte
- Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first development
- Experience working with APIs and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of website performance optimization techniques
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress is a plus
- Basic understanding of back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Python, or MySQL is an
- advantage
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, accessibility standards, and web security principles
- Experience working closely with UI/UX teams and translating design files into production-ready code
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe XD is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
