Hema is an AI visibility platform that helps brands monitor, track, and optimize how they show up across AI search engines and AI agents — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and beyond. As AI-powered answers increasingly replace traditional search, brands need to know if they're even being mentioned — and Hema tells them, and helps them fix it. We're building in the same category as global players like Peec AI, Profound, and Searchable.com, for a category (GEO — Generative Engine Optimization) that's exploding right now.
About the Role
We're hiring a Fundraising & Investor Relations Manager to own our investor pipeline through our Pre-Seed and Seed rounds. This is a high-ownership, high-trust role for someone who already has a warm network in the early-stage investing ecosystem and wants to be the connective tissue between a fast-moving AI startup and the investors who should be backing it.
What You'll Do
- Build and manage a pipeline of angel investors, private investors, UHNIs/HNIs, and family offices for our Pre-Seed and Seed rounds
- Leverage your existing warm relationships to secure investor introductions and first meetings — especially investors active in AI, SaaS, and martech/adtech
- Work closely with the founder to sharpen pitch narrative, data room, and investor collateral for a category (AI visibility/GEO) that many investors are still learning about
- Own the investor relationship end-to-end — from first intro through diligence to close
- Maintain investor CRM/pipeline tracking and provide regular pipeline updates to the founder
- Represent Hema credibly in investor conversations, founder communities, and networking settings
- Manage investor updates and reporting cadence post-round
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated, warm (not cold-outreach) relationships with angel investors, HNIs/UHNIs, family offices, and/or early-stage private investors in India
- Prior experience in startup fundraising, investment banking, wealth/family office relations, or venture/angel network operations
- Bonus: existing relationships with investors active in AI, SaaS, or martech
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, remote, early-stage environment
- Genuine interest in AI and how it's changing search/marketing — you'll need to speak credibly about the space
- Immediate availability strongly preferred
