Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based at the AVMSmiles clinic in Kogilu. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and performing procedures such as restorations, extractions, endodontic treatments, preventive care, and basic prosthodontics. The role includes conducting thorough patient consultations, explaining treatment options clearly, ensuring transparent communication on procedures and costs, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The dentist will follow AVMSmiles’ standardized clinical protocols, infection control and sterilization processes, and participate in regular training and audits to uphold quality and compliance. Collaboration with the clinic team on patient scheduling, follow-ups, and overall clinic performance is expected, while maintaining a strong patient-first approach in every interaction.
Qualifications

• Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree; MDS in a relevant specialty is an advantage.
• Valid dental council registration and eligibility to practice dentistry in India.
• Proficiency in routine general dentistry procedures, including diagnostics, restorative treatments, endodontics, minor oral surgery, and preventive care.
• Strong clinical judgment, treatment planning skills, and commitment to evidence-based dentistry and standardized protocols.
• Demonstrated focus on patient-centered care, with clear communication, empathy, and the ability to explain treatment options and costs transparently.
• Comfort working within structured systems, digital records, and technology-enabled workflows; familiarity with cloud-based practice tools is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and front-office teams to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• High standards of infection control, sterilization practices, and regulatory compliance.
