Role Description

The Generative AI Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI solutions for client organizations. This role includes developing and integrating generative AI models, building RAG pipelines, AI agents, and workflow automations on top of client data and infrastructure. The engineer collaborates closely with consultants and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures, prototypes, and production-ready systems. Day-to-day activities involve experimenting with model configurations and prompts, optimizing performance, ensuring security and compliance, and documenting solutions and best practices. The role also supports client enablement by contributing to technical training materials and providing guidance on effective and safe use of AI tools.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in software engineering and scripting (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript) for building, integrating, and maintaining AI-powered applications.
• Experience with modern AI and machine learning frameworks and platforms (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, vector databases, cloud AI services).
• Expertise in designing and implementing generative AI solutions, including RAG systems, AI agents, prompt engineering, and evaluation of LLM performance.
• Knowledge of data engineering and architecture concepts, such as APIs, ETL pipelines, data storage, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Understanding of privacy, security, and compliance requirements related to AI deployments, and ability to design solutions with governance in mind.
• Experience working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, explain technical trade-offs, and align solutions to business objectives.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality, well-documented solutions on schedule.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in enterprise or B2B settings is beneficial.
