Senior Graphic Designer
Department: Creative
Reports To: Creative Lead / Founder
Employment Type: Full-Time

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to own the visual identity of Argos across every touchpoint
— from ad creatives and packaging to website assets and social media. This isn’t a “make it pretty”
role; you’ll be designing with intent, building a brand system that converts browsers into buyers. We
need someone with strong design instincts, speed, and an obsession with craft.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Design high-converting static ad creatives for Meta, Google Display, and social platforms.
● Own and evolve the brand identity system — typography, colour palettes, iconography, and
layout guidelines.
● Create product packaging, inserts, labels, and unboxing experience assets.
● Design website banners, landing pages, email templates, and promotional graphics.
● Build social media templates and content frameworks for consistent brand presence.
● Collaborate with the video editor on motion graphics, thumbnails, and visual overlays.
● Produce pitch decks, investor presentations, and internal brand documents.
● Maintain an organised design file system with proper naming, versioning, and handoff
protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
● 3–5+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in D2C, ecommerce, or
agency settings.
● Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
● Strong portfolio showcasing brand identity work, ad creatives, packaging, and digital design.
● Solid understanding of design for conversion — hierarchy, contrast, whitespace, and CTA
placement.
● Experience designing for print (packaging, inserts) and digital (web, social, ads)
simultaneously.
● Ability to take a brief and deliver polished work with minimal revisions.
● Strong typographic sensibility and colour theory knowledge.
GOOD TO HAVE
● Experience with Figma for UI/UX and collaborative design workflows.
● Basic motion graphics skills (After Effects or Lottie animations).
● Familiarity with Shopify theme customisation and web design.
● Understanding of D2C aesthetics and what drives purchase behaviour visually.
