Purpose:
Drive the internal audit function including development of annual risk-based audit plan, execution of Internal Audits and IFC assignments, monitoring of open issues, driving business partnering & continuous improvement projects and reporting to key stakeholders including senior management, Audit Committee and Board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational: Oversee execution of audits ensuring completion as per defined scope, timelines and with qualitative output. Co-ordinate with external consultants for status/ outcome of outsourced audits and open audit findings. Drive business partnering and continuous improvement projects. Drive management implementation plan (MIP) sustenance testing on periodic basis
- People: Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation. Exhibit excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Mentoring & coaching the team ensuring that they are equipped to perform their tasks and for continuous improvement of their skills
Role Requirements / Specifications
- Incumbent MUST BE a Chartered Accountant
- Must have Big 4 experience in internal audit & have transitioned to a manufacturing organization
- Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience (including 5+ years in managerial capacity)
