Role Description The Head of Key Accounts is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Trichur, responsible for overseeing and growing relationships with high-value members and institutional partners. This role involves developing and executing key account strategies, setting goals and performance benchmarks, and ensuring high levels of member satisfaction and retention. The Head of Key Accounts will lead and mentor an account management team, allocate resources, and coordinate with product, branch, and operations teams to deliver tailored financial solutions. Day-to-day activities include reviewing account performance, supporting complex negotiations, resolving escalations, preparing business reports, and contributing to overall business planning for the Society’s key account portfolio. The role also requires monitoring market trends, identifying new opportunities within existing accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Key Account Management and Account Management, with a track record of managing strategic or high-value clients in financial services or related sectors.
- Demonstrated Team Management and Team Leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and building collaborative, high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Business Planning, including setting account targets, forecasting, and contributing to strategic growth plans for key accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels.
- Solid understanding of financial products and cooperative or banking operations; experience in a multi-state co-operative credit society is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities, with comfort using data to drive decisions and improve account performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Trichur, with a proactive, member-focused approach and high standards of ethics and integrity.
- This is a very senior position and candidates who have 10 to 12 years and above experience need only apply. The position will report directly to CFO.
- Candidates who have experience in managing Loan cycle , Deposits and System enhancements will be preferred.
