Dream a Dozen

Bangalore Full-Time 1–2 yrs exp Posted 1 day ago  · Apply by Sep 14, 2026

About the Company:

Dream a Dozen is a Bangalore-based Indian Gourmet Gifting company built on the belief that good food can drive meaningful change. Our all-women kitchen is breaking barriers in an industry where less than 3% of chefs are female.

We focus on upskilling women from disadvantaged communities, providing them with training, financial independence, and a sense of purpose: all while crafting thoughtful, handcrafted gifts. Guided by the motto “Empowered Women, Empower Women,” every product we make reflects this mission. All our baked goods are 100% eggless and free from added preservatives, staying true to our commitment to quality, sustainability, and ethics.

About the Role:

We're looking for an energetic and people-oriented HR professional to manage end-to-end recruitment, employee lifecycle processes, campus relations, employer branding, and internal events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to build a well-rounded HR generalist career.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment cycle — sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer rollout (currently recruiting 1-2 candidates per month)
  • Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and campus channels
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build effective job descriptions
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers and reports

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Handle onboarding and induction for new joiners to ensure a smooth transition
  • Maintain employee records, documentation, and updates
  • Support performance management cycles, confirmations, and internal transfers
  • Coordinate exit formalities, including exit interviews and full-and-final settlement processes
  • Address employee queries and support day-to-day HR operations

Employer Branding & Social Media

  • Plan and create content showcasing company culture, events, and employee achievements across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and others
  • Work with marketing/design teams to build a strong employer brand presence
  • Highlight team stories, workplace initiatives, and milestones to attract talent

Campus Relations & Placements

  • Build and maintain relationships with academic institutes and training centers
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute campus placement drives and internship programs
  • Liaise with placement cells for scheduling, logistics, and candidate pipelines

Event Planning

  • Plan and execute internal company events, celebrations, town halls, and engagement activities
  • Coordinate logistics, vendors, and budgets for events
  • Drive initiatives that boost employee engagement and morale

Performance Management & KRAs

  • Work with department managers to define, document, and roll out team and individual KRAs/KPIs
  • Facilitate goal-setting and performance review cycles across the organization
  • Track KRA completion, review timelines, and follow up with managers on progress
  • Support managers in creating clear performance expectations and development plans
  • Maintain performance documentation and generate periodic performance reports for leadership

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR generalist/recruitment role
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable creating social media content or working closely with a design team
  • Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with ATS/HRMS tools is a plus
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Prior experience with a startup is a strong plus
  • This is an in-office role 5.5 days per week, in our JP Nagar 7th phase location

Good to Have

  • Basic understanding of labor laws and compliance
  • Experience with tools like Canva, LinkedIn Recruiter, or HR software (e.g., Keka, Darwinbox, Zoho People)
  • A creative eye for storytelling and content that reflects company culture
