Portfolio HR Business Partner (HRBP)


📍 Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

At Sigmoid, we're looking for a business-oriented Portfolio HR Business Partner to partner with business and delivery leaders, driving people strategy across high-impact portfolios. This role goes beyond traditional HRBP responsibilities—you'll play a critical role in enabling business growth, enhancing employee experience, strengthening performance culture, and delivering people outcomes that directly impact business success.


What You'll Do


  • Partner with Portfolio Owners, Business Leaders, and HR teams to drive strategic people initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Lead performance management, employee engagement, talent reviews, and retention programs.
  • Drive workforce planning, onboarding, deployment readiness, and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Partner closely with business leaders on performance, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to identify trends, provide insights, and influence business decisions.
  • Ensure operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, HR processes, compliance, and governance.


What We're Looking For

Must-Have


  • MBA in Human Resources or equivalent (full-time from a reputed institute preferred).
  • 7–10 years of total experience, including 5–8 years in a core HR Business Partner role.
  • Proven experience partnering with Sales and/or Finance teams, including managing incentives, variable pay, and target-driven workforce dynamics.
  • Strong expertise in performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, and talent management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or analytics environment.


Good-to-Have

  • Prior experience in Data Analytics, IT Services, or SaaS organizations.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics, dashboards, and HRIS platforms (e.g., Darwinbox).
  • Experience working in high-growth startups or mid-sized technology/services organizations.
