Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Manager role based at Chanakya Business School in Kozhikode. The Human Resources Manager will oversee end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement. The role involves developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and maintaining accurate HR documentation and records. The individual will coordinate learning and development initiatives, support leadership with workforce planning, and act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns and feedback. The Human Resources Manager will also collaborate with academic and administrative teams to support a positive, inclusive, and high-performing campus culture aligned with the institution’s mission.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Strong skills in HR policy development, compliance, documentation, and HRIS or related HR software tools.
- Experience in designing and implementing training, learning and development, and talent management initiatives.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an advantage.
- Prior experience in an educational institution or service-oriented environment is preferred.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- 5+ Years of Experience Mandatory
