Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to establish and lead HR functions. This role will cover the entire spectrum of HR, including policy creation, workforce management, compliance, and strategic initiatives across office and yard operations.

 Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and systems for both companies from the ground up.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management for office staff and laborers across multiple yards.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company law, statutory regulations, and safety requirements.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, attendance, and statutory contributions.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, and dispute resolution while fostering a positive work environment.
• Identify training needs, implement development programs, and establish career progression frameworks.
• Support business strategy through workforce planning, succession planning, and HR initiatives aligned with company goals.
• Maintain HR documentation, audits, and reporting.

 Requirements :

• Significant HR experience in industrial, maritime, or ship recycling sectors.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, company law, and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to establish HR policies and processes from scratch.
• Experience managing large and diverse workforces across multiple locations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bhavnagar.
