Position: HR Manager
Location: UDIT (University of Design, Innovation & Technology), Sector 68, Gurugram
About the Role
UDIT invites applications for the position of HR Manager to join its growing team. This role is integral to building a high-performance, people-centric culture and supporting the institution through its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong execution capabilities along with the ability to partner with leadership and drive impactful HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and build strong talent pipelines
Compensation & Benefits
- Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity
- Support benchmarking and periodic review of salary structures
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, labour laws, and institutional policies
- Conduct periodic HR audits and ensure adherence to governance standards
Policy Development & Implementation
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies aligned with organizational goals
- Drive process improvements for efficiency and scalability
Performance Management
- Design and manage performance review frameworks
- Enable continuous feedback culture and support capability development
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives across departments
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing work environment
Employee Relations
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns
- Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary processes with professionalism and fairness
Learning & Development
- Implement training, coaching, and mentoring programs
- Identify skill gaps and drive continuous learning initiatives
Business Partnering
- Provide strategic HR support and guidance to line managers
- Align HR initiatives with business priorities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant HR experience
- Prior experience in the education or academic sector will be an advantage
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labour laws, and compliance frameworks
- Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Work Timings
- Monday to Friday: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM (2 Saturdays off per month)
