Cloudnine Group of Hospitals is seeking an *Infection Control Nurse cum Educator* for its Kalyani Nagar branch in Pune


Role Description The role involves implementing and monitoring infection control policies, procedures, and protocols across clinical and non-clinical areas to ensure compliance with national and hospital standards. The professional will conduct regular infection surveillance, audits, and risk assessments, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions to reduce healthcare-associated infections. Daily responsibilities include training and educating nursing and medical staff on infection prevention practices, hand hygiene, waste management, and isolation precautions, as well as supporting orientation programs and ongoing competency development. The role also requires collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams, participation in infection control committees, documentation and reporting of infection-related incidents, and preparation for internal and external quality inspections.


Qualification and Experience ;


  • GNM / B.Sc Nursing along with a Certificate course in Infection Control. MNC registration is mandatory.
  • 2 to 6 years of relevant experience as an Infection Control Nurse and nurse educator.
  • Strong expertise in Infection Control and Infection prevention practices, including surveillance, audit, and policy implementation.
  • Clinical proficiency in Nursing, with current registration and experience in hospital or acute care settings.
  • Solid understanding of Medicine and Infectious Diseases relevant to hospital-acquired infections and patient safety.
  • Ability to design and deliver staff education programs, with skills in training, communication, and clinical teaching.
  • Experience working in maternity, neonatal, or critical care units is beneficial, particularly in high‑risk clinical environments.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrate a proactive approach to quality improvement.
