Job Title :- Innovation Expert

Contract Duration :- 12 months

Location :- Qatar

The resources are required to be onsite, and the contract duration is 12 months and extendable. Candidates can be nationals and expats and there is no language preference. The team has not finalized the compensation yet – they will share the salary details with the shortlisted candidates during the interview process.

General Description:

• Leads the development and execution of innovation strategies within the ministry, ensuring alignment with the ministry’s goals and fostering a culture that encourages creativity and innovation.

Skills and Competences:

• Strong leadership and strategic thinking, excellent communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of innovation strategies within the ministry, ensuring alignment with broader ministry goals and fostering a culture that encourages creativity and experimentation.
• Facilitate ideation workshops and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas, and build an innovation culture within the ministry.
• Supervise the process of evaluating ideas submitted by employees and prioritize them based on strategic alignment, feasibility, and potential impact on ministry operations.

MINISTRY OF MUNICIPALITY

PART: 1 SCOPE OF PROJECT

Secondment Services for Planning, Quality & Innovation Department

• Oversee the development of concepts into viable prototypes, ensuring prototypes meet technical specifications and market needs.
• Evaluate the feasibility of prototypes, their scalability and potential impact, and prioritize creative projects based on strategic fit and potential return on investment.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, business developers, and project managers to ensure a consistent innovation process and to foster a collaborative environment within the ministry.

Experience, Professional Qualifications & Criteria

Experience:

• Experience in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in innovation management, product development, or a related field.

Professional Membership and Certifications

✓ Certifications in relevant technologies (such as AI, IoT), Project Management

Professional (PMP)

Language Requirements:

✓ Arabic and English
