Job Description:

The Opportunity

A specialized industrial equipment manufacturer is hiring its founding class of Inside Sales Representatives. This is a ground-floor opportunity - the cadences and playbooks you help build will define the inside sales function going forward.


You'll own a book of active accounts with no current field rep assigned across injection molding, extrusion, and aftermarket segments. Your job is proactive outreach, open quote follow-up, account reactivation, and surfacing the right opportunities for field escalation.


What You'll Do

  • Make 50+ proactive outbound calls per day to assigned accounts
  • Follow up on open quotes same day. Every open quote is a live revenue opportunity
  • Reactivate dormant accounts and rebuild buying relationships
  • Log every call same day in CRM: contact, conversation, next step, follow-up date
  • Quote standard items and aftermarket parts directly in the ERP; escalate complex technical or capital equipment opportunities appropriately
  • Contribute to weekly team scorecards and participate in call reviews


What We're Looking For

Required

  • Proven high-volume outbound phone sales experience (40 to 60+ calls per day)
  • Experience managing a book of accounts proactively, not just processing inbound
  • CRM discipline. You log because you want to, not because you are told to
  • Strong verbal communication: clear, confident, technically curious
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred

  • Background in industrial equipment, capital equipment, or B2B technical sales
  • Familiarity with distribution or manufacturing ERP systems (P21, Eclipse, SAP, or similar)
  • Inside sales experience in a B2B technical environment where you were expected to grow accounts, not just take orders
  • Based in or near Cincinnati, OH - candidates in the local market will be given preference
