Interior Designer

The team has pioneered GFRG construction in partnership with IIT Chennai and manages multi-unit residential and commercial builds. Its mission is to empower clients with clarity, care, and confidence while creating functional, transparent, and future-ready spaces.

Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts and layouts for residential and commercial projects, ensuring designs align with sustainable building practices and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating FF&E selections, and collaborating with architects, engineers, and site teams to maintain design integrity during construction. The role involves meeting clients, presenting design options, incorporating feedback, and supporting remote construction management with clear documentation and digital communication. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nagercoil, with a combination of on-site visits and work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications

• Ability to plan and organize interior spaces effectively, including strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
• Knowledge of Architecture and experience collaborating with architectural and engineering teams.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience in selecting and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) aligned with project budgets and sustainability goals.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and manage client expectations.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and readiness to work in a hybrid setup with periodic site visits in and around Nagercoil.
