Role Description This full-time on-site Interior Designer Faculty role is based at Pinnacle Institute Of Fashion Technology in Ludhiana. The faculty member will deliver classroom lectures and studio-based instruction in interior design concepts, space planning, and design principles. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, course materials, and assignments; supervising practical projects; guiding students through design development and presentations; and assessing student work. The role also involves contributing to curriculum enhancement, staying current with industry trends, participating in academic meetings, and supporting events such as workshops, exhibitions, and student showcases.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Interior Design and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment), including concept development and material selection.
  • Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture, with the ability to teach functional layouts and design standards.
  • Ability to create and review Construction Drawings, and guide students in technical documentation and detailing.
  • Relevant academic qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred).
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience, ideally in a design or fashion institute setting.
  • Knowledge of industry tools and software commonly used in interior design (e.g., CAD, 3D visualization) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a student-centered teaching approach.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to academic initiatives, and support institutional growth.
