Java Full Stack Developer

We’re seeking talented and passionate Java Full Stack Developers to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our platform, directly impacting our clients’ success. In this role, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders, senior engineers, and our product team to understand business needs, architect innovative technology solutions, and bring those solutions to life.

Our current platform utilizes a modern tech stack, including Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Docker, Ruby on Rails, Postgres/Oracle, and IBM MQ/Kafka.

What You’ll Do

Be a core member of a scrum team (8+ members) focused on delivering high-quality, resilient, and interoperable services within our middle office platform.
Collaborate with other technologists to leverage and contribute to reusable code and services.
Develop deep expertise in one or more functional areas.
Drive the design of scalable, high-performing, and robust applications, participating in design and code reviews with senior staff.
Contribute to shaping best practices for developing, sharing, and continuously improving our software platform.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
Proficiency in Java and modern front-end UI technologies.
Solid experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Spring Boot.
Experience with Angular 2+ (not AngularJS), JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
Understanding and experience with messaging queues, preferably Kafka.
Experience with any database (e.g., Postgres, Oracle).
Experience with Microservices architecture.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies, tools, and processes.
Knowledge of architectural patterns.
Experience in the Securities or Financial Services domain is a plus.
