JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Elasticsearch.
• Build and support data processing solutions leveraging AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2) and EMR.
• Develop and maintain applications using Java Spring Boot integrated with AWS Aurora Database, ensuring reliable performance and scalability.
• Develop and manage real-time and batch data pipelines using Kafka, MQ, and Batch Processing frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and secure solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot).
• Expertise in Elasticsearch development, querying, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing applications using AWS Aurora (Aurora MySQL or Aurora PostgreSQL), including query tuning, database performance optimization, and integration with Java Spring Boot applications.
• Experience with AWS services: S3, Lambda, and EC2.
• Knowledge of EMR and big data processing.
• Experience with Kafka, MQ, and Batch Processing technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Python/PySpark.
• Knowledge of Apache Flink for stream processing.
• Exposure to data engineering and large-scale distributed systems.
