Job Description

Position: Executive / Manager

Position Reports to: Partner

Job Description / Position Summary

The Transfer pricing team advises multinational corporations of all sizes on tax aspects of inter-

company pricing arrangements. The work involves a great deal of financial analysis. As part of

this team you will analyze past / proposed transactions for identifying the pricing benchmarks

which involves interpreting complex documents, analyse annual reports, carry out financial

analysis to assess competitive pricing terms and prepare deliverables for the client reporting.

Further you will also extend support to the concerned Partner in representation before tax /

appellate authorities.

Responsibilities And Deliverables

• Understanding client business model through analysing various information resources
  
  

such as agreements, financials, website. The process may also involve discussion with or

carrying interview of clients to understand the business activities of the clients in detail.

• Coordination with clients for obtaining various information / documents.
• Carrying out comparable analysis for clients engaged in different sectors and preparing
  
  

report to document the results

• Preparing the form 3CEB based on client information and filing the same.
• Assessing applicability of various forms for Master file and CbCR related compliances
• Running search processes on the databases to ascertain arm’s length profit margins of
  
  

companies engaged in various sectors

• Analysing the financial statements of clients and comparable companies
• Documenting the comparable search process in an auditable manner and report
  
  

preparation

• In-depth analysis of business profile of companies through various resources to build up
  
  

argument for comparability as well as non-comparability for representation before tax /

appellate authorities

• Assistance in various marketing efforts of the concerned partner such as preparation of
  
  

newsletters, presentations etc.

• Drafting deliverables such as reports, proposals, advices, opinions, emails, presentations
  
  

for clients.

• Collating information for submitting to tax / appellate authorities.
• Drafting and preparing submissions for the tax / appellate authorities
• Assist in knowledge management - contribute information to knowledge sharing tools,
  
  

share knowledge and experience via formal and informal methods.

• Understand service line offerings and highlight potential opportunities to the team.
• To keep updated with case laws and should be in a position to draw ratio of the
  
  

judgements to the assignment handled;

• To manage transfer pricing assessments and the tax authorities.
• Managing team for delivering assignments in a timely manner.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualification -Quailfied CA

Experience - Experience in similar transfer pricing role with accounting firm

Essential Skills/Knowledge Required

• Good communication skills [written and oral]

• Strong research and referencing ability
• Strong analytical ability and an eye for details
• Proficient in word, excel, power point.
• Ability to work under pressure
