Backend Engineer — Power AI Learning at Scale 🧠⚙️

We’re an AI-first edtech startup helping students crack UPSC, NEET, and JEE with personalized, high-impact learning tools.

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be the architect of our learning engine—building scalable APIs, AI pipelines, and real-time features that deliver adaptive content and instant feedback to thousands of learners across India.

🛠 What You’ll Do

Design and develop robust backend systems using Python (FastAPI)
Build and optimize RESTful APIs for frontend and mobile clients
Integrate AI/ML models into production-ready services
Model complex educational data with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
Ensure performance, reliability, and security across all backend services
Collaborate with the frontend and product teams to ship new features fast

✅ What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in backend development with Python
Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or any relational database
Proficiency with Docker and container-based deployments
Good grasp of clean architecture, modular code, and testing practices
Familiarity with REST, WebSockets, authentication, and caching

💡 Bonus Points

Experience with async Python (asyncio, uvicorn)
Knowledge of deploying ML models (e.g. with PyTorch, Hugging Face)
Experience with queues (Celery, Redis) and background workers
Exposure to educational platforms or adaptive learning systems
