Role Description The Jr. Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Indira Nagar, Lucknow. This role involves editing video content for digital platforms, including cutting footage, arranging timelines, syncing audio, and applying basic transitions and effects. The Jr. Video Editor will support video production activities, prepare rough and final cuts, and collaborate with senior editors, designers, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency. Daily tasks include color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and simple graphic elements, organizing media assets, and maintaining project files. The position also requires following creative briefs, meeting deadlines, and incorporating feedback from stakeholders to produce clear, engaging video content.

Qualifications

• Ability to work across core video workflows, including Video Production and Video Editing.
• Proficiency in post-production enhancement, such as Video Color Grading and basic color correction.
• Skills in visual design and animation, including Motion Graphics and Graphics for video content.
• Familiarity with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills for handling multiple projects.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams and respond constructively to feedback.
• Basic understanding of social media and digital content formats; prior internship or project experience in video editing is an advantage.
• Relevant coursework or a diploma/degree in film, media, animation, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
