About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage the organization's finance and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, internal controls, audits, and Indian accounting practices. The role requires excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IND-AS and applicable accounting standards.
• Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Handle petty cash management, periodic reconciliations, and implementation of financial controls.
• Conduct and coordinate internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and strengthen internal control processes.
• Coordinate statutory, tax, and external audits.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances and filings.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support financial planning and provide business insights to leadership.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and finance automation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of IND-AS, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of US Accounting (US GAAP) and experience handling US books of accounts is highly preferred.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and implementing financial controls.
• Hands-on experience managing petty cash, reconciliations, and accounting records.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of experience.
