Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Wakad. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities include preparing vouchers, invoices, and basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting monthly and annual closing activities. The role will also involve coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, helping maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, and assisting senior finance staff with audits and documentation. The Junior Accountant is expected to maintain accurate records, follow established processes, and contribute to efficient financial workflows within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, and basic financial statements.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Office tools, especially Excel for data entry and basic analysis.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and the ability to maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance colleagues, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle routine accounting activities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 4 - 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings, is an advantage.
• Should have knowledge of statutory compliances and coordination with C.A and C.S
• Monthly Audit of the accounting
• Knowledge of B/s and P&L
• Knowledge of accounting and finalisation
• Knowledge and execution of GST and TDS compliances
• Knowledge of PF (Optional)
• Knowledge of HSN Codes or willingness to learn.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new systems
• working hours 9.30 am to 6.30 pm, 1st and 3rd Saturday working only.
