Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Chandigarh, India. The Junior Architect will support senior team members in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and producing design documentation across different project phases. Daily responsibilities include assisting with schematic designs, detailed drawings, and 3D visualizations; coordinating with consultants; and helping prepare presentations and submissions. The role involves updating project documentation, participating in site visits and measurements as needed, and ensuring design intent is accurately translated into technical drawings. The Junior Architect will collaborate closely with the project team, attend internal reviews, and contribute to design discussions and problem-solving.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
  • Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, workflows, and digital collaboration.
  • Exposure to Project Management principles, including time management, task prioritization, and coordination with project stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and comfort with visualization tools and MS Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent from a recognized institution; eligibility for professional registration is an advantage.
  • Strong design portfolio demonstrating attention to detail, spatial thinking, and clear graphic communication.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and respond positively to feedback.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Chandigarh, conduct occasional site visits, and learn local codes, standards, and construction practices.
