Job Summary

We are seeking a Kubernetes Engineer with strong hands-on experience managing and supporting production Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Kubernetes administration, Linux, container technologies, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support while collaborating with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support production Kubernetes clusters.
• Monitor cluster health, workloads, networking, storage, and application performance.
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, DNS, ingress, and deployment issues.
• Perform cluster upgrades, patching, backup, restore, and maintenance.
• Manage Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PV/PVC, and RBAC.
• Support application deployments, rollbacks, scaling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, OpenSearch).
• Handle incidents, RCA, change management, and production support activities.

Required Skills

• 6–10+ years of IT experience with strong Kubernetes Administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Docker/containerd, Linux, Helm, and YAML.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes networking (CNI, DNS, Ingress, Load Balancing).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security (RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets, Certificates).
• Excellent production troubleshooting and support experience.

Good to Have

• AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• CKA/CKAD Certification.

Shift Requirement

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide weekend/off-hour production support when required.
