Lead Cloud Engineer

Roles & Responsibilites:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and infrastructure automation initiatives
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Manage Kubernetes/Docker container platforms and orchestration
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and security compliance
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams for release management
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis
• Define cloud governance, security best practices, and operational standards
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions/reviews
• Drive automation to reduce manual operational overhead
• Participate in architecture planning and capacity management
• Handle incident management, SLA adherence, and operational excellence
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 4 to 9 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / SRE
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized deployments
• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or other IaC tools
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of Linux administration and networking concepts
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or CloudWatch
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, VPCs, and compliance standards
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience handling production infrastructure at scale
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience leading teams or owning cloud platforms is preferred
• AWS/Azure/GCP certifications are an added advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
