Lead Data Platform Architect

Location: Noida / Greater Noida

Budget: ₹40–45 LPA

We are looking for a candidate with strong hands-on experience in the technologies mentioned below, who can lead architecture discussions and collaborate effectively with customer Data Architect and Enterprise Architect teams

.The candidate should have worked on large-scale projects and possess extensive experience in designing and developing data platforms or data products on Azure

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineerin
• Hands-on expertise in Azure, Databricks, Terraform, and PySpar
• Relevant certifications in Azure and Databrick
• Proven experience in architecting and delivering large-scale Azure data platform solution
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skill
• Comfortable working from the client’s office premises and willing to travel to customer locations as require

Responsibilties

• Ensure soundness of deliverables according to agreed standards (previous section
• Elicit and translate requirements into Solution Designs and Architectural Decision Records aligned with YIAPL-appointed Solution Architec
• Establish engineering discipline of deployed team (e.g. by ensuring modular, unit testable Python libraries, terraform first infrastructure deployments, structured logging, Service Level Objectives and observability as defined in previous section
• Mentor and steer engineers; reject deliverables that bypass defined standards; drive reuse and knowledge transfer to NIA te

Skills & Experience

• Enterprise architecture leadership on Azure data platforms with proven design-authority track record in agile project environme
• Excellent understanding of deployed technologies (Azure, Databricks, Terraform, Python/PySpark) and development patterns and architectures (DevOps, CICD, Lakehouse, Medallion, Security by Desi
• Stakeholder leadership with clear decision framing and risk management across business and vendor te
• Equivalent expert level certifications in deployed technologies with >10 years of leading role software delivery experience and expert level experience in deployed technologies or equivalent qualifications.
