Localization R&D Engineer – Washing Machine

I. Basic Position Information

Work Location: New Delhi · Gurugram, India (local office-based, supporting localization R&D implementation). With domestic & international travel as required (supply chain factories, testing institutions, etc.)

II. Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for localized R&D and structural optimization of washing machine products based on Indian market conditions including water quality, climate, user habits, and local regulatory standards.
2. Conduct in-depth research on Indian user needs, competitive product advantages, and technology trends; output localized R&D analysis reports.
3. Independently lead localization R&D projects, overseeing the full process from design, prototyping, testing to mass production; coordinate with local supply chain and factory teams.
4. Responsible for quality analysis and technical issue resolution for products sold in the Indian market; continuously improve product adaptability and stability.
5. Coordinate with the headquarters R&D team in China; manage cross-border technical collaboration and information synchronization between China and India.

III. Requirements

(A) Basic Qualifications

1. 5-10 years of washing machine R&D experience.

2. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related engineering disciplines.

3. Willingness to travel domestically (India) and internationally.

(B) Core Competencies

1. Thorough knowledge of Indian home appliance industry standards, certification regulations, and mainstream product technologies in the local market.

2. Proven experience in product structural design, performance debugging, and reliability testing.

3. Ability to independently lead R&D projects, with strong capabilities in market research and solution design.

4. Fluent in English, with the ability to conduct technical communication and document writing in both Chinese and English without barriers.

(C) Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous washing machine R&D experience with leading home appliance companies such as LG, Haier, Samsung, etc.

2. Familiarity with China's home appliance industry and Chinese corporate R&D management practices; experience in China-India cross-border collaboration.

3. Familiarity with India's local supply chain, OEM/ODM factory resources, or third-party testing institutions.

4. Prior experience in washing machine optimization specifically addressing India's hard water conditions and high-temperature/humid environments.
