About the Role

As the Logistics Manager, you will own the movement of people, products, and vehicles across the company.

This is not a desk-bound coordination role.

You'll be responsible for ensuring every delivery reaches on time, every vehicle remains operational, every driver performs reliably, and every transport document is accurate and compliant.

You'll work closely with Production, Packaging, Sales, Procurement, and Leadership to build a logistics function that is efficient, reliable, and ready to scale.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Delivery Operations (PAN India)

• Plan and manage daily delivery schedules 
• Optimize delivery routes to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of fresh mushrooms and finished products
• Coordinate urgent and priority deliveries whenever required
• Track deliveries and proactively resolve delays

Fleet Management

• Manage the company's fleet of commercial and employee vehicles
• Schedule preventive maintenance and servicing
• Maintain insurance, PUC, registration, permits, and other statutory documentation
• Monitor fuel usage and vehicle performance
• Coordinate repairs with workshops and vendors

Driver Management

• Recruit, onboard, and train drivers
• Prepare driver schedules and duty rosters
• Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance
• Ensure drivers comply with company policies and safety standards
• Build a dependable and motivated driver team

Employee Transportation

• Coordinate transportation for employees whenever required
• Plan efficient travel arrangements while optimizing costs
• Handle special transport requirements for visitors or company events

Documentation & Compliance

• Manage delivery challans, transport documentation, invoices, and dispatch records
• Maintain accurate logistics records and reporting
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with authorities whenever transport-related documentation is required

Process Improvement

• Develop and improve logistics SOPs
• Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs
• Improve route efficiency and delivery timelines
• Implement systems for better visibility and reporting
• Use operational data to support decision-making

Who We're Looking For

You don't need to know everything about mushrooms.

You do need to enjoy operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who naturally notices inefficiencies and wants to fix them. You are organised, decisive, and calm under pressure. You don't wait for instructions when problems arise. You take ownership, coordinate people effectively, and find practical solutions.

You understand that good logistics is often invisible because everything simply works.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• 4-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet management, or supply chain operations
• Experience managing drivers or field teams
• Strong knowledge of transport documentation and compliance
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Experience in FMCG, food, agriculture, cold chain, or manufacturing will be an advantage

Location

This role is based on our farm located close to Manesar. Candidates should be comfortable travelling to the farm.
