Job Description

We are looking for experienced Mechanical Maintenance Planners from the Oil & Gas industry to support maintenance planning and work management activities for plant equipment.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in maintenance planning of Rotary & Static Equipment along with hands-on expertise in SAP PM and SAP MM modules.

Mandatory Requirements

✅ 5–10 years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance Planning

✅ Experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery industries

✅ Strong knowledge of:

• Pumps (Centrifugal & Positive Displacement)
• Compressors
• Turbines
• Gearboxes
• Valves
• Heat Exchangers
• Vessels
• Piping Systems

✅ Hands-on experience in:

• Maintenance Planning
• Work Order Planning
• Job Plan Preparation
• Work Pack Development
• Backlog Management
• Spare Parts Planning

✅ Mandatory SAP Experience:

• SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
• SAP MM (Material Management)

✅ Vendor Coordination & Material Planning experience

✅ BE/B.Tech Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed maintenance plans and job packages for plant equipment.
• Plan manpower, tools, materials, and services required for maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance backlog and prioritize work orders.
• Create and maintain job plans and maintenance work packs.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, vendors, and stores teams.
• Support spare parts planning and inventory management.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and optimized execution of maintenance activities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Important Screening Criteria

Candidates must have:

• Mechanical Maintenance Planning experience
• SAP PM & SAP MM experience
• Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical industry experience

Candidates with Electrical Maintenance background only will not be considered.
