Manages: Two HR Recruiters at the start; a full HR & Training team over the next 24 months.

Why this role matters
We are building factori.com into a company where every role — from an executive to a director — has a written mandate, measurable KPIs, and a process to track those KPIs weekly. That is the operating rigour that gets a business from ~₹100 crore today to ₹10,000 crore by March 2032.
The Manager — HR & Training is the person who will build that operating rigour across the company — while also owning the full employee lifecycle, running our training and L&D engine, and leading our recruitment function. You will report directly to the Founder & CEO. This is not a "support function" role. This is a build-a-people-company-from-the-inside role, on the path to CHRO.
What you'll own
- Training, Learning & Development (this is what will get you hired) — design and deliver sales training, onboarding, process training, and role-specific L&D across every function. Build modules, content, videos, playbooks and assessments in-house. Run OD interventions — leadership development, communication, feedback, manager training.
- KPI operating system — the differentiator — work with each function head to define a clear KPI framework for every role. Publish and maintain the KPI-vs-Achievement dashboard, reviewed weekly with the CEO. Own the quarterly KPI-review calendar.
- Hiring — proactively identify hiring needs; author or approve every JD; own sourcing, screening, interview design, offer, onboarding. Lead the two HR Recruiters who will report to you from Day 1.
- Employee lifecycle — onboarding, performance management, learning & career pathways, engagement, and exits.
- HR operations — payroll interface with Accounts & Compliance; policy, handbook, statutory compliance; HRMS ownership.
What we're looking for
Must-have: 3–6 years with a strong training or L&D core — this is non-negotiable; we want a trainer first, HR generalist second. Hands-on experience in at least three of: sales training, process training, organisational development, learning & development, content and module development. Demonstrable examples of programmes you have personally designed and delivered — not just attended. Sharp English; the ability to hold a room. Comfort with KPI frameworks and HRMS. Bachelor's in HR, Business, Psychology, Commerce or Engineering; MBA/PGDM in HR or an L&D certification is a plus, not a must.
Nice-to-have: prior work in a fast-growing SME, ambitious startup, EdTech, B2B sales-driven company, or manufacturing/commerce business; experience building an in-house training academy or content library; familiarity with sales-training frameworks (SPIN, Challenger, Sandler etc.), OD models, or performance-management platforms.

Where this can take you
This role is on a track to CHRO of factori.com over the next 24 – 36 months — provided you deliver. There are not many roles in Indian commerce right now where you get to build a people organisation from ~250 employees to several thousand, from the inside.
