Business Development Managers/ Engineers – EPC Business
Locations: Kolkata | Chennai | Ahmedabad/ Pune
Samay Project Services Ltd., a rapidly growing EPC company, is looking for dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Engineers / Managers to lead business development and customer acquisition across key regions in India.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced techno-commercial professionals who can independently develop markets, build long-term customer relationships, and drive EPC business growth.
Key Requirements
✔ Engineering Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
✔ 10–20 years of experience in EPC marketing, estimation, and business development
✔ Strong knowledge and experience in:
- Piping systems
- Fire fighting systems
- Tank farm construction
- Industrial EPC projects
- Estimation, costing, and bid preparation
- Techno-commercial discussions and contract negotiations
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand EPC business within the assigned region.
- Meet Power Plant and Industrial consultants on a regular basis
- Identify new customers and project opportunities across industrial sectors
- Meet engineering consultants
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and coordinate estimation activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPC clients, industries, and government organizations.
- Coordinate with engineering and project execution teams during the bidding process.
- Achieve business development targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following sectors will be an added advantage:
- Industrial Process Plants
- Oil & Gas
- Tank Farms and Terminals
- Fire Protection Systems
- Sugar & Distillery Projects
- Infrastructure Projects
Experience in BioCNG, Compressed Biogas (CBG), Renewable Energy, or other Energy Transition Projects will be a significant advantage.
Desired Profile
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent understanding of EPC project execution and customer requirements.
- Self-driven professional capable of independently handling regional operations.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and customer relationship management.
