Job description:

Designation: Manager - Marketing

Experience: 10 - 12 years of experience in New Business Development.

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ ECE / Electrical / Mechatronics + MBA in Marketing.

Job Description:

  • Act as a Key Account Manager for business handling of large and strategic OEMs.
  • Responsible for achieving set targets of turnover, profitability and other growth targets from the OEM accounts and new business development.
  • Visit the customer site and engage with customer team members at various levels across departments and the hierarchy to maintain the desired VoC.
  • Responsible for business development and get new RFQs from customers for development at Gilard via Gilard's website.
  • Introduce Gilard via a formal presentation to new customers and coordinate for high-level customer meetings.
  • Coordinate with Sales team and resolve any issues at customer end.
  • Provide support to customers for delivery, quality or any special requests.
  • Ensure timely collection of Payments from customers to ensure healthy account receivables.
  • Make tour plans for customer visits and make daily tour reports.
  • Work closely with cross functional, engineering and delivery teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • Identify market trends, requirements, market activities and competitor information.

Skills Required:

  • Experienced in team handling and good at systematic working
  • Creative thinking and opening up new business opportunities
  • Experienced in making a business plan
  • Basic understanding of financial planning and costing for turnover and profitability calculation. Negotiation skills
  • Understand products and their applications, different types of manufacturing technologies
  • Good presentation & Communication Skills
  • Understand sales process like invoicing, billing, freight, scheduling, order booking etc.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills and active in follow-up
  • Willingness to travel and Good report writing skills
  • Linear, logical, analytical thinker with problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office
