Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Motor Engineer role based in Nagpur. The Mechanical Motor Engineer will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and performance evaluation of motors and related mechanical systems, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and quality standards. Daily tasks include conducting diagnostic checks, troubleshooting issues, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and documenting findings in clear technical reports. The role involves using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to support design modifications, improvements, and failure analysis of automotive and other motor-driven systems. The engineer will collaborate with forensic experts and other technical team members to support investigations, contribute to root-cause analyses, and assist in preparing technical inputs for client reports or legal proceedings. The position requires hands-on work in workshop and field environments, adherence to safety protocols, and continuous updating of knowledge on mechanical and automotive technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with hands-on experience in motor systems, rotating equipment, or automotive components.
• Proficiency in Maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for mechanical and motor-driven systems.
• Practical experience in Inspection, testing, and diagnostics of mechanical assemblies, motors, and automotive systems.
• Working knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for review, modification, and documentation of mechanical components.
• Understanding of Automotive systems, drivetrains, and vehicle performance parameters relevant to motor and mechanical analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, standards, and manufacturer documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work on-site in workshop and field settings, and to follow strict safety and quality procedures.
• Experience or interest in forensic investigations, failure analysis, or evidence-based technical reporting is an advantage.
