Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Representative role based in Amritsar. The Medical Representative will promote Lupin’s portfolio to healthcare professionals by conducting regular visits to clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies, presenting product information, and ensuring ethical and compliant promotion. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining strong relationships with prescribers and channel partners, executing territory sales plans, and achieving sales and activity targets. The role also involves organizing and participating in medical education programs, gathering market and competitor insights, and reporting field activities using Lupin’s systems and tools. Collaboration with the local sales team, timely follow-up on orders, and support for product availability are key aspects of this position.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Medical Sales skills, including territory management, product promotion, and achievement of sales targets.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, such as clear presentation abilities, negotiation, and active listening.
  • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including relationship building, responsiveness, and issue resolution.
  • Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Pharmacy to understand products, indications, and therapy areas.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medical or Allied Health, Business) is preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical sales is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in the field, manage schedules independently, and use digital tools for reporting and communication.
  • Strong ethical standards, familiarity with compliance guidelines, and a commitment to patient-centric healthcare.
