Mid-Senior Java Developer – Spring Boot & API Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 4.5+ years of experience who is well-versed in the application development life cycle and has a sound understanding of standard IT technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems, and must be capable of working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust applications using the Spring Boot framework.
• Perform hands-on coding in Java.
• Debug and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Conduct code reviews and provide sign-offs.
• Perform unit and functional testing.
• Create technical and functional documentation.
• Provide end-user support as required.
  
  

Professional Skills

• Expert-level programming skills in Java.
• Experience with event-based and message-driven distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of web servers and load balancing technologies.
• Proficient in source code management tools like SVN, GIT, and build tools like Ant, Maven.
• Experience with Web Services, REST APIs, and XML protocols over HTTP.
• Hands-on experience with J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Maven build scripts, transitioning to GitHub (Curie).
• Deep understanding of API-based development.
• Proficient in development tools like IntelliJ, ScalaTest, SonarQube.
• Experience working in an Agile methodology.
• Exposure to modern DevOps tools and workflows such as Git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, or equivalent.
