Lead Data Migration Engineer

(ETL & Azure Databricks)

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects from planning through production deployment.
• Design and develop ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading large datasets.
• Build and optimize data migration solutions using Azure Databricks.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Define and implement data survivorship and deduplication rules.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve data migration quality issues.
• Collaborate with business users to validate migration outcomes and ensure data integrity.
• Work closely with QA teams to support testing and defect resolution.
• Create migration strategies, mapping documents, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and security standards.
  
  

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in Data Migration and ETL.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Expertise in ETL tools and SQL.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data profiling, reconciliation, and validation.
• Experience implementing survivorship and deduplication logic.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership abilities.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM).
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, or Spark.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
