Job Description – Monitoring, Learning & Evaluation (MLE) Specialist

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or Social Science.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 of experience in the Public Sector, preferably in the Social Sector.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with expertise in social research.
• Experience in government- or UN-funded projects preferred.
• Knowledge of women’s economic empowerment initiatives in West Bengal is desirable.
• Prior experience with World Bank-funded projects is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement M&E frameworks and MIS for WEP initiatives.
• Design data collection tools and ensure systematic data verification.
• Conducted training for PMU teams and analyzed collected data.
• Document best practices, success stories, and impact studies.
• Oversee program assessments and contribute to research and reporting.
• Ensure smooth implementation of M&E plans with key stakeholders.
