Role Description The Motion Editor role at Gencosys is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow (Indira Nagar). The Motion Editor will be responsible for editing and refining video and motion graphics content, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate timing, and visual consistency. Daily tasks include collaborating with designers and content creators, organizing and managing media assets, and aligning edited content with brand guidelines and project requirements. The role involves working closely with project managers to meet deadlines, implementing feedback, and maintaining high-quality standards across all motion and video deliverables. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in motion editing and video editing using industry-standard software (such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools).
• Experience in motion graphics, animation basics, and visual storytelling for digital and social media content.
• Strong skills in media management, including organizing footage, maintaining version control, and archiving project files.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with design and content teams, and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, export settings, and optimization for various platforms.
• Relevant education in film, animation, multimedia, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent time management, ability to handle multiple projects, and commitment to meeting urgent deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment in Lucknow.
