Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities

Title: Network Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage firewalls (Palo Alto Fortinet), Swicthes, Wireless devices, SD-WAN
• Perform rule reviews, cleanup, and compliance checks on firewall
• Analyze and resolve incidents related with firewall, wireless, Switches SD-WAN
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Handle firewall, VPN, and connectivity-related incidents.
• Validate and close incidents within defined SLAs.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPSec and SSL VPNs.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6-0 years of experience in network/security domain
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, )
• Wireless devices
• Routing and switching
• SDWAN
• TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, routing, DNS
• Experience in log analysis and packet-level troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• CCNA / CCNP Security
• Palo Alto PCNSE
  

Certifications (Preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and incident reporting skills
• Ability to work under pressure in critical security incidents
• Proactive mindset with attention to detail

• Experience with cloud network experience
