Operations Manager - Padel Club

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Revenue Growth

• Develop and execute strategies to maximize court bookings, particularly during off-peak hours.
• Build partnerships with corporates, schools, and local organizations to drive bulk bookings, events, and sponsorship opportunities.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, membership packages, referral programs, and seasonal offers to increase revenue.

2. Community & Social Media Management

• Manage the club's social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) by coordinating with the marketing team to create engaging posts, reels, and stories.
• Moderate official WhatsApp groups by connecting players, sharing slot availability, promoting events, and maintaining an active community.
• Organize tournaments, beginner sessions, leagues, social mixers, and community events to improve member engagement and retention.

3. Club Operations

• Oversee day-to-day club operations, ensuring courts, facilities, and common areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Manage pro-shop inventory, including rackets, balls, grips, and other retail items.
• Supervise housekeeping and operational staff to maintain service standards.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by resolving member queries, feedback, and complaints promptly.
• Monitor daily billing, cash and digital collections, operational expenses, and prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.

Requirements

Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in sports club management, hospitality, fitness centres, events, or customer-facing operations.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing social media platforms, particularly Instagram.
• Comfortable using booking software and Google Workspace/MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Languages: Fluent in English is essential. Proficiency in Malayalam is preferred. Knowledge of additional Indian languages is an added advantage.

Preferred

• Passion for sports and community building.
• Knowledge of padel, tennis, or racket sports is an advantage.

Work Schedule

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on club operating hours.
