Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day event operations, including planning race timelines, coordinating with clients and vendors, managing equipment and logistics, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role includes supervising on-site teams, resolving operational issues quickly, monitoring budgets and resource utilization, and implementing process improvements to optimize event efficiency. The Operations Manager will prepare operational reports, maintain documentation, and collaborate with leadership to align event delivery with business goals and client expectations.
Qualifications

• Strong operations management and event coordination skills, with experience overseeing end-to-end execution of sports or racing events.
• Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and logistics management, including resource allocation and vendor coordination.
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with capacity to handle on-site issues and maintain safety and compliance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and supervise on-site staff, motivate teams, and ensure consistent performance in fast-paced environments.
• Comfort with basic digital tools and data management, such as spreadsheets, event management software, and reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, management, sports management, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Prior experience in event operations, sports events, or racing-related services is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days, and to be present on-site throughout event operations.
